Perform Europe Open Call for Cross-Border Performing Arts Collaboration is Out!
Perform Europe, the EU funding scheme for the European performing arts sector, launched its open call on 1 December 2023, offering €2.1 million for partnership projects across all 40 Creative Europe countries. Perform Europe will support collaborative partnerships which reinvent the way we tour across borders.
Open to all performing arts professionals and organisations based in Creative Europe Countries, applications are submitted by partnerships formed by a minimum of three partners from three different Creative Europe countries.
The call invites partnerships to propose innovative touring ideas that can generate real change, with a focus on at least one of the Perform Europe priorities: inclusion and diversity and / or the fight against climate change. Projects by and with underrepresented areas or groups will receive particular attention.
The call is open to projects in all genres of the performing arts (live music excluded). Eligible proposals must include a completed artistic work(s) – a finished production or an artistic concept ready for touring.
Applicants can apply for grants in three categories: €12.000, €32.000 or €60.000. 5% of the total funding will be dedicated to projects involving Ukraine. The call will support projects lasting up to 17 months, implemented between July 2024 and March 2026.
Proposals are submitted online after registering on the Perform Europe website. The website also offers an online matchmaking platform where the applicants can find potential partners, connect with them and establish partnerships.
